 Brenda
Nelson was born in Salt Lake City and has two brothers. In May 2005, she
graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies
and also completed a Minor in Ethnic Studies. Brenda has been working with
Montessori Community School for over five years. She started in our aftercare
program and decided that because she truly enjoyed the Montessori philosophy
she would begin her Montessori training. She completed her NCME Early Childhood
training and is now teaching in the Blue Class. Brenda finds it exciting
and stimulating to be teaching and enjoys the interaction with the children
in her class. Outside of teaching, Brenda has a plethora of interests. These
include: art, antiques, museums, collecting dolls, travel, cats and pugs.
Little known fact about Brenda: her favorite chocolates are from a small
chocolate shop in Amsterdam. |
