 Lisa Fels was born in a small town near Green Bay, Wisconsin, and has
lived in many places, including Phoenix, Washington D.C., Miami, Toledo
(Spain) and Santiago (Chile). Lisa has two sons, Adrian
and Kiran. She has a bachelor’s degree in Business
Administration and a master’s degree in International Business. Lisa
worked in the consulting industry for 8 years, traveling throughout Latin
America and managing teams of consultants in three languages (Spanish, Portuguese
and English). Lisa has been with the Montessori Community School since 2006. Lisa loves
working at MCS because it “truly captures the spirit of what Montessori
education is all about”. She is currently becoming Montessori trained
through the North American Montessori Center (NAMC). Little known fact about
Lisa: She performed improvisational comedy as a member of ComedySportz during
