DUAL LANGUAGE PROGRAM

Children that participate in our dual language program experience a Montessori learning environment in Spanish and English, and have the opportunity to develop fluency of understanding in both languages within 3 years.

Our dual language class has one Spanish-speaking and two English speaking Montessori teachers, who present Montessori materials to the students exclusively in either English or Spanish. Students also work with Spanish language materials to gain an understanding of Spanish letter sounds, basic grammar and vocabulary.

We currently offer a full-day Early Childhood Dual Language class, and are considering expanding this program to include an Elementary class in the future. Those students not enrolled in the dual language program participate in our Spanish language specialty class three times per week.
