Welcome to Montessori Community School! We offer
classes for children aged 18 months to 12 years through a comprehensive
Montessori curriculum that encompasses Toddler, Early Childhood
(including a dual language Spanish/English class), Lower Elementary
and Upper Elementary programs. The Montessori Community School
is a place of discovery, curiosity, enthusiasm and respect. We
provide a learning environment that promotes self-worth and develops
a strong sense of individual responsibility and community. Our
students develop into confident, independent thinkers who enjoy
a lifetime love of learning.
For the past twenty-one years, we have been providing
our students with an educational experience that guides and nurtures
the natural unfolding of the whole individual in an environment
that stimulates global awareness and peaceful conflict resolution.
We have over 160 students currently enrolled at our school representing
different ethnicities, races, religions and varied family compositions.
Our excellent teachers are creative, enthusiastic and devoted
to Montessori philosophy. All of our teachers are either Montessori
trained and certified or are in the process of completing their
certification.
