A family event typically held the Friday evening before Halloween. Students and their families attend in costume and enjoy many fun games and activities including pumpkin decorating, face painting, balloon artists, a cake walk and more!
A Service Learning fundraiser benefitting the Children of Ethiopia Education Fund (COEEF) and the Adopt-A-Native Elder Program. Students raise pledges for our seven sponsored girls in Ethiopia and our three adopted Navajo grandmothers and run laps in the gymnasium on the day of this fun filled event.
A week in May where the MCS community comes together to show our appreciation for our fabulous Teachers & MCS Staff! We treat them all week with surprises such as handpicked flowers, homemade cards, and potluck breakfasts, snacks and lunches!
This fun family event is held annually on the evening of the last day of school. There are all kinds of wonderful activities, including inflatables, carnival games, a balloon artist and face painters. It is a great evening of food and entertainment. Tickets go on sale in May.
Ongoing throughout the school year. The Green committee works with the MCS community on many great green initiatives including recycling, reusable napkins and sandwich bags, an annual children's clothing swap, and "green" parent education.
