PROGRAMS

The typical schedule usually begins with Montessori work time. The classroom allows and encourages the children to independently develop and expand their knowledge from a concrete foundation in practical life and sensorial experiences to the wider abstractions of knowledge in language, mathematics, peace education, cultural awareness (including geography and history), science (including botany, zoology, chemistry, etc.), Spanish, creative dance, drama, music, and visual art. This course of study is enriched with the addition of computers, winter sports and healthy lifestyles. Learning extends beyond the classroom through field trips, visitors and community service.
