MONTESSORI SUPPORT

Whether it is new classroom resources, playground equipment, building maintenance and repairs, offering scholarships to those in need, or sending teachers to Montessori conferences, the demand for funds and additional resources always runs high. But, with a little help from our Montessori community, and our community in general, the goal of providing the highest quality education experience can be attained.

The Montessori Educational Foundation is the non-profit arm of the Montessori Community School and is a 501(c)3 organization. Any donations made to Montessori Educational Foundation are 100% tax deductible as well as 100% greatly appreciated!

Fund the Future Annual Fundraiser

“Fund the Future” is one of our annual fundraisers. This is our most important fundraiser during the year because it is used to raise funds for scholarships, teacher education and new school materials. The fundraiser format is a dinner auction, including both a silent and live auction. Members of the school community provide and solicit donated items for the auction. All of the children in our classrooms also participate by making items that are auctioned at the event. Throughout the night, we also raffle several items donated by the parents.

This is a very entertaining evening, and we always have wonderful items to auction, in all price ranges. Past auction items have included restaurant gift certificates, sports tickets, artwork, hotel and spa stays, ski passes and hot air balloon rides, among many others. Past classroom craft items have included a mosaic table and chairs, a decorated bench, handmade quilts and other beautiful creations.
